The gallery premieres a new series of editions titled HUNDERT, offering artist editions of 100 for 100 EUR, launching with a mail-art work by Monty Richthofen on the occasion of Art-O-Rama, Marseille.
The project, titled DIRTY HANDS, consists of 100 black-and-white silkscreened postcards on 700g paper. Each postcard is printed on the front, while on the reverse the artist handwrites a personal message in ink and addresses it to the recipient provided by the collector.
The edition is mailed directly via standard post. Stamps, markings, dirt, and traces of handling accumulated during its postal journey are considered integral parts of the work.
