Berlin Atonal returns to Kraftwerk Berlin this August with a five-day programme of new commissions, premieres, artworks, and club nights. Across Kraftwerk’s industrial spaces, the festival continues its mission to mobilise artistic risk and initiate different modes of listening, gathering, and sense-making.

Alongside large-scale presentations on the main stage, the festival introduces Third Surface. Replacing the old Stage Null, it’s a newly conceived audience environment inspired by the informal spaces and counter-institutions of nightlife before the rise of dance music. Here, music and artworks create the framework for new types of social and psychic assembly.

The additional aftershow program is split across Tresor, Globus and OHM. Pre-sale tickets are available now, allowing access to the entire Kraftwerk complex (including Tresor/Globus and OHM) for that night, including aftershow parties.

Festival Information

The festival complex opens on each night from 18:00 and the program runs late. Food is available on-site. Large cameras are not permitted.

Accessibility
Access to specific stages is based on capacity and may involve queuing. There is elevator access to all floors inside the Kraftwerk complex. Please contact info@berlin-atonal.com if you have any accessibility questions. Please bear in mind the festival features high sound pressure levels, flashing lights, and strobe effects. It may not be suitable for individuals with photosensitive epilepsy or sensitivity to loud sounds. Visitors must be aged 18 or older.
