Wachsende Nachbarschaft II: fermenting beyond our fences
With Theresa Leisgang. This workshop will be held in German. Reserve your free spot HERE
In celebration of the harvest we'll devote this autumn afternoon to the art of pickling and fermenting. Fermented vegetables like sauerkraut, kimchi & Co. are not only delicious and healthy, but also a great way to prepare for the winter months. Following an introduction to the fermentation process, we'll get hands-on and create our own winter stores.
Theresa Leisgang is a freelance journalist, author, and a wilderness educator. Over the past ten years, her research has taken her from the Amazon to the Arctic, with a focus on stories of hope. When she found visions for a climate-neutral world in 2050 too far removed from everyday life, she decided to act: Now, she is engaged in her local neighborhood in Alt-Hohenschönhausen and part of the collective Church of Interbeing in Neukölln where she regularly creates community rituals in Berlin.
